A Finger Lakes Wine Country Recipe

1 oz. Finger Lakes Distilling Seneca Drums Gin
.5 oz. fresh lemon juice
.5 oz. simple syrup
(To taste) Dr. Konstantin Frank Célèbre Rosé (or any Finger Lakes bubbly Rosé)
1 slice lemon for garnish

For the simple syrup:

1 cup water
1 cup white sugar

Directions

  1. In a shaker with ice, combine gin, lemon juice, and simply syrup and shake
  2. Pour into a champagne flute and top off with sparkling rose
  3. Add a lemon slice for garnish

 

Simple Syrup Instructions

In a small saucepan add water and sugar and bring to a boil stirring until the sugar dissolves. Reduce heat and simmer for 1 minute.

After simmering, remove from the heat and let the syrup sit for 30 minutes and store in a container easy to seal and serve from.

Simple syrup stays good for around 30 days with refrigeration.
