SENECA LAKE WINE TRAIL MEMBER
Owners Mike and Corinne, have a passion for wine and viticulture, growing only vinifera fruit on their 16-acre vineyard since 1998. The vineyard, located at Lodi Point in Lodi, NY, has been producing luscious and elegant fruit for ten years. Currently offering varietals: Chardonnay, fermented in oak barrel and stainless steel, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Pinot Noir and Bordeaux-style blends.

King’s Garden Vineyard, Owner and Wine-Maker, Michael Oleksyn, explained the King’s Garden Vineyard’s concept, ""When these lands were occupied by European Kings, Their troops and subjects grew vegetables for food on a patch of ground that was commonly referred to as The "Kings Garden". Within those garden’s they planted vines from European cuttings, with the hope to make wine. For the most part, due to the climate and insect life, those cuttings never matured to fulfill their dreams. Our name "Kings Garden Vineyards" is a tribute to those who treaded and tried before us."

The family owned and operated winery is eager to share their tradition, values and experiences with visitors and locals alike. Crafting only 2500 cases, they have the luxury to create premium wines of individual character, a blend of richness, balance and pleasure.

The Oleksyn family, open their doors to you, offering wine tastings, sales and events. A free “Kings Garden Vineyard” wine glass with every tasting. The tasting room and store are open Thursday through Monday 11am to 5pm. Join the Oleksyn’s on their beautiful deck overlooking Seneca Lake for a glass of wine and partake in the offerings of artisanal local farmstead cheese and breads. The breathtaking view is an elegant picturesque setting for your next event, wedding, or any special occasion.
