Description:
Black Rock in Dundee has been around awhile and has a rich history here in the heart of the Finger Lakes Wine Country. The track started back in 1957 as the Dundee Speedway by the Bath Speedway Club (a.k.a. the Cohocton Valley Racing Association).
The track is a 4/10 mile, clay, semi-banked oval. One story told around here is that Black Rock got its current name after being reclayed with a noticably darker surface.
