At The Corning Museum of Glass, visitors of all ages can experience live glassmaking demos, explore 35 centuries of glass art and history, and even make their own glass!

Experience the amazing properties of glass! See live, narrated hot glassmaking demonstrations all day, every day at the Hot Glass Show. Watch flameworkers turn simple glass rods into delicate figurines at the torch at Flameworking Demos, and at Glassbreaking Demos, see how different types of glass shatter. All shows and demos are included in the price of admission.

Explore more than 35 centuries of glass art, history, and science. Discover pieces from ancient Egypt, see delicate Venetian glass, and study breathtaking contemporary pieces. Get hands-on with glass in the Innovation Center with interactive exhibits that tell the story of the science and technology of glass. Find a glass treasure for your home in the 18,000 square-foot GlassMarket, where you can purchase pieces from around the world.

Make Your Own Glass souvenir to take home. From hot glassworking, to flameworking, to fusing, to sandblasting—you and your family can do just about anything with glass, with the help of our experienced glassworkers. Make Your Own Glass projects exist for all ages and no experience is necessary. Want a more in-depth experience? The Studio offers courses in a variety of glassmaking techniques for students of every skill level.
